Fractional CISO
The Fractional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) provides part-time leadership for Cadence OneFive’s information security program. The role is accountable for maintaining and improving our security and threat posture, supporting our compliance commitments, and helping teams make informed security decisions.
The CISO works with the Head of Platform, DevOps, Engineering, and Product to keep security practices effective and appropriate for the company’s needs.
Responsibilities
Section titled “Responsibilities”- Lead the information security program, including security policies, risk management, and the information security management system (ISMS).
- Coordinate SOC 2, SOC 1, and ISO 27001 compliance and audit activities with auditors and internal teams.
- Maintain awareness of relevant threats and vulnerabilities, and guide improvements to our security posture.
- Support DevOps and Engineering with security guidance for infrastructure, operations, and software development.
- Partner with Product to incorporate security and privacy considerations into product decisions.
- Guide security incident preparedness and response, working with the teams responsible for operations and recovery.
- Support security awareness, vendor reviews, and customer security discussions.
- Communicate material risks and priorities to leadership, and help teams follow through on security improvements.
