Sara Vasilovski
Hi there! My name is Sara Vasilovski, and I use she/her pronouns. (She/her — pronounced “Sah-rah Vah-sil-OHV-skee,” in case you were panicking.)
At Cadence OneFive, my role is…
Section titled “At Cadence OneFive, my role is…”I’m your friendly neighborhood bookkeeper — keeping our numbers organized, accurate, and very loved. If it needs reconciling, structuring, or obsessively double-checked… I’m already on it.
Who am I?
Section titled “Who am I?”Away from work
Section titled “Away from work”I’m a 30-year-old wife, mom, house manager, and businesswoman based in the cozy city of Prilep, North Macedonia. I’m basically a full-time multitasker. I love spending time with family/friends (certified social butterfly), but I also deeply value my alone time — balance is everything. Fun twist? I come from an entire family of accountants, swore I’d never do it… and yet here I am, loving it. Life is funny like that.
At work
Section titled “At work”I’ve been in bookkeeping for over 10 years — 6 years in Macedonian accounting and the last 4 years working internationally. I’m obsessed with clean numbers, smooth processes, and catching tiny details most people never even notice. I genuinely enjoy making financial systems make sense.
Learning goals
Section titled “Learning goals”I want to go beyond bookkeeping into deeper financial strategy — especially budgeting and financial analysis. Numbers as a story, not just data.
Career goals
Section titled “Career goals”I’m growing intentionally and taking it step by step — but the long-term dream is to eventually become a finance consultant. Less data entry, more strategic brainpower.
Ways of working together
Section titled “Ways of working together”I thrive when I can go heads-down on long, focused tasks — especially the “boring but important” operational stuff. BUT — I also love short, efficient check-in calls so we stay aligned. Collaboration energizes me. I love sharing knowledge just as much as I love learning from others.
You can lean on me to…
Section titled “You can lean on me to…”Organization, clean systems, and making financial chaos make sense. If something needs to be untangled, structured, documented, or triple-checked… I’m your person.
How to support me as we work together
Section titled “How to support me as we work together”Deadlines are EVERYTHING for me. They help me plan and do my best work — especially since I split my working hours throughout the day.
How to support me as a person
Section titled “How to support me as a person”I tend to break up my work hours, so I prefer to have meetings and then tackle tasks when it fits my schedule best. I love the flexibility this job provides; it helps me balance my personal and professional life seamlessly. Deadlines are key to helping me manage everything effectively! — I’ll always deliver. Just let me know by when
I’m my best self on a team when…
Section titled “I’m my best self on a team when…”I contribute meaningfully to discussions, especially when I have something relatable to share. I love exchanging knowledge and hearing what others have to teach me as well. Collaboration is all about learning together!
Feedback preferences
Section titled “Feedback preferences”I welcome feedback anytime—especially if I’m not meeting expectations. I also appreciate shout-outs when I’m doing a great job; they motivate me to keep pushing forward! Feedback is a fantastic opportunity for growth, and I’m always eager to improve.
Technical preferences
Section titled “Technical preferences”I live happily inside Google Workspace, but I’ll adapt to anything that streamlines my workflow.
Schedule and availability
Section titled “Schedule and availability”I prefer meetings between 12 PM and 3 PM GMT+2, but I can adjust for earlier or later meetings if I know in advance — just a heads-up so I can plan accordingly!
